Royal Ping-Pong

Beatrice. Eugenie. Are they in or out. Everyone’s asking. The palace sends mixed signals. Constant noise behind the walls.

Surprise twist. Prince William isn’t keen. He’s cold to his cousins. King Charles. He’s the soft heart here. Lownie called them “footballs in this thing,” literally tossing them back and forth.

Using titles while holidaying in the Middle East doesn’t help the comeback tour. Confusing, to say the least.

Charles stays sentimental. Wants to be protective. William? Kate? Even Queen Camilla sees the damage to the brand. They keep their distance. The Prince of Wales allegedly blocked the sisters from Peter Phillips’ wedding last June. Royal Ascot too.

Charles once promised to handle Andrew’s daughters after the Epstein mess landed. That promise aged poorly. Their Middle East ties keep burning the house down. Daily Mail suggested Beatrice’s trips basically funded Andrew’s stay at the Royal Lodge. Before the eviction, anyway.

William asked for an ethics check. On their money. On their investments. They refused. Times reported it.

Lownie called it “a very schizophrenic relationship.” Now. They are.

Stuck. The future King draws a line. Accept William’s terms. Stay close. Or walk.

Nobody’s forcing them, really. But the door has a latch now. Who turns the handle.

“The daughters are clearly footballs in this,” Lownie noted.

They just stand there. Waiting.
